Catholics Come Home

But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and
abounding in
steadfast love, and you did not forsake them.  (Neh. 9:17b)

Catholics Come Home is a program of the Roman Catholic Church that invites both Catholics who have ceased to participate in Church life as well as non-Catholics to learn more about the Catholic faith

The Church teaches that God desires a loving relationship with each person God has created, and so Pope John Paul II affirmed the need for a new evangelization based on the “re-proposing of the Gospel to those regions awaiting the first evangelization and to those regions where the roots of Christianity are deep but who have experienced a serious crisis of faith due to secularization.” 1 This missional desire for God’s people continued under Pope Benedict XVI and is being developed in new ways by Pope Francis I.

At Saint Raphael Parish, we welcome your desire to learn more about the Catholic faith, whether you were raised in the Catholic Church, come from a different faith background, or come from no faith background.  The Church has a rich history of people living out their faith in the world, and exploring this history and the theology of the Church can strengthen our journey of faith.  We would be glad to be a part of your faith journey.

If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, please contact the parish office at 603-623-2604.
