Giving Hands Knit & Crochet

She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches her hand out to the needy.  (Prov. 31:20)

Saint Raphael Parish has a dedicated group of knitters and crocheters who gather together each month to work on a variety of ministry projects:  blankets and hats for preemies at local hospitals, baptismal blankets, prayer shawls for those with chronic medical conditions, as well as hats and mittens for inner-city school children. All of these ministry projects enable us to show God’s love within the greater Manchester community and are deeply appreciated by those who receive them.

If you’re a novice or would like to learn, we have many experienced knitters and crocheters who would love to teach and encourage you!  Our group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm – 8:00pm during the school year, in the Rectory.  Please check the parish bulletin for dates!
