Prayer

Let my prayer be incense before you; my uplifted hands an evening sacrifice.   (Ps. 141:2)

Prayer is a conversation of the heart and mind that enables us to share with God our concerns and our desires and to hear God’s desire for our lives.  Whether our prayer is formal or informal, solitary or in community with others – our prayer is received by God with loving attention to our true needs.

The Book of Psalms in the Old Testament is a wonderful way to access prayer; they express the hopes, sorrows, fears, praise and thankfulness of believers throughout all generations.  May the prayers and creeds provided here provide refreshment for your heart and mind, helping to deepen and broaden your walk with God.

Prayer Line:  Saint Raphael Parish maintains an active prayer line which can be accessed by calling 603.623.2604 or emailing srp@st-raphael-parish.org. Please put the words “Prayer Request” in the subject line.
