Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint
them with oil in the name of the Lord. (James 5:14)
| The sacrament of anointing the sick brings comfort and blessing and is available to those who suffer from a serious physical illness or are facing surgery because of serious illness. This sacrament is also offered to those very elderly who may be in need, as well as seriously ill young children who are of the age of reason.
Please do not wait until someone is near death but call when there is any serious illness. If you are ill or a loved one is sick and in need of the sacrament for healing, please call the parish office at (603) 623-2604 to arrange for a pastoral visit. |
