In love God destined us for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ, in accord with the favor of his will,
for the praise of the glory of his grace that he granted us in the beloved.  (Eph. 1:5-6)

Confirmation is a milestone on the life-long journey of faith, the completion of Baptism and a celebration of the ongoing power of the already-present Holy Spirit in our lives.   Confirmation is intended to deepen and intensify the gifts of the Spirit, continuing our formation through prayer, study, community, and a life of service. As believers, our faith continues to grow and develop throughout our lives and confirmation reflects the movement toward a new form of involvement in parish life.
