We have several projects taking place in and around Saint Raphael church.  The overall goal of these projects is to practice good stewardship, create a prayerful and welcoming atmosphere for the celebration of the liturgy, personal prayer, and parish community.

→ Daily Mass Chapel:
Goal: To renew the chapel and expand its flexibility as place for prayer for groups and individuals. Scope: painting, replace carpeting, new seating, removal of wood paneling to expose stained glass and sacred art installation.

→ Sacristy:
Goal: To renew the sacristy and create a more prayerful atmosphere in preparation for the liturgy. Scope: painting/wood stain, refinish floor, replace flooring in certain areas, and sacred art installation.

→ Sanctuary:
Goal: Recover something of the spirit and spatial quality of the original design and to better facilitate liturgical celebrations. Scope: rearrangement and relocation of statuary and liturgical furnishings.  Refurbishment of original crucifix, angels, and furniture.

→ Baptistry to be named in honor of Saint Bridget and Saint Patrick: 
Goal: Renewal of the space to promote a deeper connection and understanding of the role of baptism and the sacraments and the Christian life, a place of private prayer, and a more intentional commemoration of Saint Patrick Parish. Scope: replace carpeting, new seating, painting, relocation of stained-glass windows of Saint Bridget and Saint Patrick, confessional restoration, and repair of font plumbing.

→ Greenspace and Grounds:
Goal: To provide outdoor space for community to gather, improve safety and contribute to renewal of the neighborhood. Scope: removal of broken asphalt, remain chain link fence with ornamental fence, plant grass.

→ Parish Hall:
Goal: Renewal of the space to foster and promote community, provide variety of options for groups to meet, attract visitors and provide additional revenue to support the parish. Scope: relocation of Veteran’s Memorial stained-glass window and wall to be centerpiece of main hall, and renovations and updates of meeting spaces, kitchen, and bathrooms.
